
Kathleen Koh
Educational and Developmental PsychologistKathleen values the therapeutic relationship and believes in building a strong rapport with her clients as a basis for therapy and intervention to occur. She works from an attachment-focused and ecological systems framework, and believes in engaging families and stakeholders as partners in the therapeutic journey.
Deeply passionate about working with children and young people on the Autism Spectrum, Kathleen has spent the last 8 years doing so. She has worked in both public and private settings in Australia and Singapore, and has experience working with clients with diverse cultural backgrounds and abilities. Kathleen previously held roles as a special education teacher and a behaviour therapist. She also has keen interests in learning difficulties (such as, Specific Learning Disorders - commonly known as Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and Dysgraphia), as well as developmental, emotional and behavioural issues (such as, anxiety, ADHD and developmental trauma).
Kathleen is experienced in the area of psychoeducational assessments, and has conducted these with clients in preschool through to early adulthood. She is fluent in English and conversant in Mandarin.
Kathleen is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and a full member of the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS). Kathleen obtained her Master of Psychology (Educational and Developmental) from the Queensland University of Technology, Australia, where she graduated with distinction. She previously completed her tertiary education in Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
